The Day the Doctor Said Rest...

I had a relaxing day, slept more than 12 hours as the Serbian doctor recommended 2 days of sick leave after looking at my swollen shut throat, that throbbed yesterday.
It seems that random days off are overly productive. I got up and caught up on a load of work that was sitting around, applied to a couple schools, drank tea, lemonade, ate oranges, soup, decided to set up this blog and try to remember what's important, catch up with old friends and more.

So, tomorrow I will go back to teach, to inspire, to get in those smiling, quirky minds and enhance, enlighten and hopefully bring laughter out loud.. And, as the year starts off 2010, I feel promise. I can only hope right.

Starting off with Heather on the streets of Beirut, in a balmy Mediterranean environment and happy Lebanese and international people all around playing on Gemmayze street. Filled with Italian pirates, dodgy Australians, Mexicans living in Morocco and French philosophers, I think that is my sign to stay abroad or work my butt off to make sure I am still in an international environment... or else I might lose it..

So, for now, I look forward to: teaching the children well; creating some dreamy lessons that take us to new heights; getting lost in the wintery weather of Boston well job hunting; seeing cute, young French boys again; enjoying the winter in Dubai; running; cooking; finding magic wherever I can and living out loud.

Hasta pronto.

PS. Oh yes, and blogging about it all, as this is the resolution of the year.. the blog..
